I’ve learned that life is never how you planned, and ya know what?  That’s okay with me.  I planned on being a Fashion Designer living in LA, marrying my high school sweetheart (okay, that really happened!) and owning some sort of cool loft in the city.  Instead, I live in NWI have had a multitude of jobs, and ended up starting my own business.  I am an Independent Consultant for a company called Rodan and Fields.  I have a day job as I grow this business and can’t wait to be financially free.  My hubby and I got married on St. Patrick’s day in 2007 and our lives have changed SO much.  I pictured newlywed simplicity, entertaining friends and figuring out career paths.  Well, we got pregnant on our beautiful honeymoon in Mexico and God had different plans.  Capri Peal was born 12-13-07, in a crazy couple of days (yes, I said my labor lasted DAYS).  She is an independent, stubborn, gorgeous blue eyed girl that has rocked our world with love that cannot be explained.

I’m young but have always been told I am a “wise soul”, and my hope for this blog is to have a place where I can express some of these crazy thoughts that get trapped in my head. It is also a place where I can keep track of all of Capri’s developments (since I suck at scrapbooking), keep in touch with friends and family (since I don’t really enjoy talking on the phone) and connect to a beautiful community of new friends.
